my opinion is that I am not entitled
The author is trying to tell us, is that we think we have a lot of rights but we really don't even have any rights. Police, law, and government pretty much control us and have control over our so and so "rights" the only rights we have is the right to our own opinion. I am entitled to my own opinion unless I I make a mistake but until I know I'm mistaken I will be entitled to my own opinion and everyone else can " " off.
Hmm. I thought the author said that we do have some rights (like crossing the crosswalk) but that each right creates an obligation for others (like drivers who have to stop their cars and let us cross).
